Notice About PMP™ SDuos

Hello guys,
Hope you all loving and enjoying my works ;)

I developed- PMP™ Ultra, PMP™ Light, PMP™ U-Ex and PMP™ RaZER custom roms for s duos in sduos forum.

All roms are on their best part based on their different features as per users interest.

Now i am thinking to continue with PMP™ Ultra ROM version updates only, because of 2 reasons-

1st Reason- Most of all users are using PMP™ Ultra only in PMP™ Series and they are loving to use this rom only. Comparing with ultra, there are very few users using my other roms. (Am i right? Correct me if i am wrong here). And also they all are based on same stock 4.0.4 only.

2nd Reason- Lack of time and etc..........

So these are the two reasons for that.

(But downloads for all the last updates of other roms will be always available)

Regards
Mohitash

About Swapping SD Cards in GT-S7562

Hello friends,
Here are some details for swapping sd cards.

What is Swapping SD Cards?
Simply- It will make your External sdard to Internal sd card and internal sd card to external sd card

PMP™ RaZER ROM is already having swapped sd cards feature

Requirements-

  • External sd card with more than 1 GB storage
  • Rooted Device
  • CWM Recovery as most of you are having cwm.

Disadvatages-
This will affect on your kernel. So, battery drain can be high and sometimes your device can react unusual (Restart, stuck for few seconds and like this).
But other things will be fine

Now lets start:
  1. Backup all your sd card data to prevent losing it.
  2. Download this cwm zip package
  3. Put it in your sd card and flash via CWM and reboot
  4. Done.

Now enjoy big games and hd games on your GT-S7562

About Link2SD in GT-S7562

About Link2SD in GT-S7562

Hello friends,
Many users are still having isuues regarding how to use Link2SD or they are unable to use it because of some issues.
You can take look here for full description of this app on Official Android Market to know how this app works.

Requirements that you need to use this app-

  • Rooted device
  • External SD Card of 2 GB or more than 2 GB
  • Your "External SD Card" must have Second partition (Ext4, Ext3, Ext2 or FAT)

If you want some steps on how to partition your external sd card then follow these steps:
Requirements-
  • First you must have a Card Reader so that you can connect your sd card to pc with card reader
  • This method will not erase any data but still you must backup your sd card data
  • MiniTool Partition Wizard. You can get free "Home Edition  it here
  • Install MiniTool Partition Wizard on your windows pc
Now follow These steps-
  1. Connect your sd card (Install all drivers and wait for it to complete and load)
  2. When completed open MiniTool Partition Wizard
  3. You can see your SD Card, right?
  4. Now right clock on that and select Move/Resize
  5. Now move that size from right to the left of size of your choice that you wanna give as 2nd partition (Unallocated Space After | Recommended- Min. 500 MB and Max. 1 GB)
  6. Now you can see in main window two parts, one your sd card (FAT parition) and other one as Unallocated
  7. Right click on Unallocated and seect create (Ignore if any message comes and clock on yes)
  8. Now select "File System"- Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 or FAT32 (I always use FAT32 on my GT-S7562) and click ok
  9. Now click on Apply button on top left corner of main window and wait for it to finish
  10. Done. You successfully created your SD Card's 2nd partition.

Now lets move to the steps for "how to use Link2SD

Steps-
  1. Install and open Link2SD
  2. Give Superuser Permissions
  3. A popup will be displayed to select your sd card 2nd partition
  4. Select your partition
  5. If you get any error message like cant create mount script, source busy then just ignore it.
  6. Tick all the options
  7. In option App2SD if you get error again then again ignore it
  8. Now reboot your device
  9. Done
After reboot open Link2SD and check storage info and you will see its working
Whenever you install any new app then it will be automatically lnked to you sd card. You can see the notification in statusbar
You must wait for linking work to be finished before launching that app.

If you want video tutorial you can see this

I hope now you already solved your problem with this post

ROM Porting By Me (Why its not possible)

ROM Porting By Me (Why its not possible)

I think many of you still needs to read this..
These words were posted by "Cheatman" - KyleOpen ROM Developer
I am/was getting many PMs regarding this and even i posted there responses to my threads also but still i am getting requests and all...
You must read this....
Thanks to Cheatman to save my time

---Edited words---

"Ok guys, I'd like to clarify some things about JB porting. To make this happen there is at least one of the following two things that must happen:

1. We must find a *similar* (best case scenario) phone with dual sim and JB. It HAS to be a Samsung phone. If it's not Samsung, all kinds of problems and development drawbacks will happen, so it'll take forever to port.

2. The CM10/AOSP teams have to build generic dual-sim support into their sources. Sadly, this is very complicated and will not likely happen any time soon. It is complicated because Micromax, HTC, Karbonn, Spice, Samsung and Sony use different CODE to handle dual-sim functionality. This is why google is important for Android. Without it, everyone does whatever they want, if they don't have a reference architecture. And Google did not implement (fully) the dual-sim architecture for Android. Thus, everyone does what they want.

Do not assume that any ROM of a device with dual SIM and JB can be ported. It has to have similar hardware (for driver compatibility), be made by the same manufacturer (because we need the same implementation of dual-sim) and must have the kernel source released (so I can look at it and try to port a working kernel for our device).

I'm still looking for new stuff and improvements to add to the ROM. Right now about all of the features that I want are already included either as add-ons or part of the ROM itself. That said, I'm looking for stuff that fit ALL OF the following criteria:
Features that are of general interest or bring new functionalists. Things like audio, video, memory, SD and speed tweaks. Driver improvements, better speed etc.
Features that are generally useful. If you think that I'll include OTG in the kernel (and work my a$$ off!) just because you have a USB host cable around the house and would like to test it, think again. Generally useful stuff include those aspects of the ROM that everyone uses, such as WiFi and the touchscreen. Exotic stuff will never be included.
Features that are easy to implement. This is a so and so criterion, because easy to include stuff (such as the CSC mods) will always be included even if they are exotic and not useful to many people. But, the easier it is to implement, the more likely I will include the feature in the ROM. I am a very lazy guy, although most of you would probably not think so.
The mods have to be available for inclusion in third party ROMs (some mods can only be downloaded directly from threads and it's not allowed by their creators to include them in ROMs). So please read full description and check if I can include it in the ROM.
Features that you tested before you report them, whenever possible. It really grinds my gears when I test a reported mod only to find it soft-bricks my phone. It's true that I can restore it in about one hour even when not at my PC, but it's still very annoying )

At LAST IT MATTERS ON HOW MUCH TIME I HAVE OR CAN HAVE FOR IT
